Because my cats have brown fur, the white colour is somewhat problematic, but thankfully, you can certainly get rid of the mattress to scrub it. I vacuum it each and every 7 days and it seems pretty much as good as new afterward (This is often saying anything for the reason that Nala malts like mad and makes use of it on a daily basis).
